About Věra

Czech pianist Věra Mullerova graduated from the Prague Conservatoire in 1978. She then studied at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Prague, followed by a short-term attachment to the Kiev Academia of Music. During her studies, she successfully participated in many national and international competitions.

Věra began performing in public concerts at the age of 16, not only all over Czechoslovakia but also later in Russia, France, Slovenia, Germany, England, Japan, and the USA, giving not only recitals but also appearing with leading Czech and foreign orchestras and conductors.

In cooperation with Czech television, she has made around fifty recordings. She has frequently been a member of the jury panel for international competitions organized by the Anglo-Czech Trust in London.

In addition, Věra is a very experienced teacher, having taught at the Pilsen Conservatoire continuously since 1980. She began teaching at LMFL summer schools in the UK in 2000, and many students have returned to continue learning with her.
