Teaches Jazz Vocals & Jazz Vocal Workshop

About Letizia

Letizia, a dedicated performer and teacher, finds joy in imparting the essence of music to her students, viewing it as a vital aspect of her life's journey. With a foundation in classical piano and a childhood steeped in jazz, singing became her passion. Her exploration of improvisation, guided by influential recordings and professional courses in France, culminated in further studies at the Berklee College of Music, Boston, where she earned a University scholarship.

There she honed her voice technique, delving into harmony, writing, and composition. Returning to France in 1998, Letizia showcased her talents in renowned Parisian clubs, establishing herself as a professional in the jazz scene. Versatile and in demand, she collaborated with musicians from various cultural backgrounds, further enriching her repertoire.

Letizia's dedication extends to teaching. She has taught individual students in the PARIS region for more than 20 years and has taught regularly at the Lille Conservatoire since 2014 and now at the Ecole Superieure de Musique et de Danse in Lille since 2018. She emphasizes the importance of listening to recordings of the masters of jazz. For Letizia, jazz is more than music; it's an attitude that opens the door to learning and self-discovery.

Letizia has been teaching on LMFL courses in the UK and in Europe since 2001.
