Anna Jordan

I began teaching English to speakers of other languages in Istanbul in my early twenties, where I obtained my Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (University of Cambridge). Since then, I have taught in a variety of settings and locations in France, Turkey, and the UK, where I also completed a degree in Fine Art in 2012. In 2016, I obtained a teaching qualification (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) in Creative Education.

I have supported international students with language needs and study skills in UK universities, taught students with special educational needs, helped families who have repatriated to the UK, and had my own teaching business. I speak Turkish well and reasonable French and German, having grown up in Germany.

Since 2006, I have enjoyed working with the LMFL team at various UK and international locations. The course allows me to build relationships with students and their music teachers, creating enjoyable and varied lessons specific to their needs and learning styles. I’m looking forward to Llandovery 2024!
