Igor Frug violin |

Born in USSR in 1974. Igor Frug began his violin studies with his
father when he was 7 years old. In 1989 continued his studies at the
Musical College of the Moscow Conservatory with Mrs. Dimidenko under the
supervision of Prof. I. Bochkova. In 1991 immigrated to Israel and studied
at the Rubin Academy of Music with M. Waiman, I.Svetlova and Y.Kless. After military service he resumed playing
violin and held a few leading positions: The Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra
(concertmaster) The Israel Chamber Kibbutz Orchestra
(guest assistant-concertmaster) Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra IBA
(concertmaster) Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (tutti one-year contract) Igor assoc. principal first violin in
Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon le Zion (Israeli Opera orchestra) He teaches violin at the Israel
Conservatory of Music and Newe Eliezer
Conservatory in Tel Aviv. Igor is the first violin in the
"Opera" string quartet performing all over Israel. |
